• Foothill Party Book!

    I hope everyone is getting ready for this year’s GALA – it’s going to be one of the best yet! March 18th, 6-midnight!!
    One way we raise money at the Gala is through Party Books, and we are looking for families to host. This is such a wonderful way to support our school by hosting a small or large get-together for children or parents. You pick the theme, size of the party and date! While the deadline for party submissions is March 8th, parties can take place anytime from April 2017-February 2018!
    What is the Foothill Party Book? The Foothill Party Book contains all sorts of fun events where our children, parents and teachers make new friends and have a great time! It’s a wonderful way for families to get together and support our school while having fun and building a close community.
    A “Party” is a fundraiser where families or teachers host an event. The host(s) will incur the cost of the party so that the sales generated from a party go directly to Foothill PTA, and more importantly to benefit the kids. No party is too big or too small! Host an intimate party for 10, or a huge bash for 100! 100% of the money raised goes to supporting our school!
    How do I host a party? A family or group of families can sponsor a party. Grab a friend, brainstorm, and put together an event! Your party can be gender specific, class specific, adults only, or include the entire school! Kid’s parties, adult parties, family parties…it’s up to you!
    To host a party, please fill out the attached form and return to the office or your child’s teacher. Deadline for party submissions is March 8th.Or you can simply email Jaylon or myself to “submit” your party.
    How do I sign up to attend a Party? Big news here! For the first time ever, we will be offering Party Book sign-ups through the Online Auction, which takes place the week leading up to the Gala. First come, first serve. For any parties that do not sell out during that time, they will be part of the Gala’s Silent Auction.
    Need ideas?
    We’ve got lots of party ideas! Parties are even more fun when hosted with another family or two (or three!), so round up your friends and start planning! The attached flyer has a TON of additional ideas, create your own, or we are happy to brainstorm with you as well!

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you to those of you who have contacted me about hosting a party – we are so grateful!! The good news is that we will be offering sign-ups to all parents via the online auction, so it will be open to everyone, not just those who attend the Gala. The bad news? I need your party info sooner than I originally planned for – ideally by next Thursday.

    If you haven’t yet turned in a form or emailed me, please send me your party info (party name, date, time, # of students, # of participants, grade/age restrictions, suggested price per person, etc. ) by next Thursday. Again, thank you to those of you who have reached out already. We have some really wonderful events to offer our kiddos, and we’ll be making some $$ for our awesome school!
